How Big Will My Fingerprint Earrings Be?
Fingerprint measure approximately 9mm across although this will vary very slightly depending on the shape chosen.
For instance. star earrings measure approximately 9mm across; moons measure 9mm diagonally and hearts measure slightly smaller at 8mm across.
They are all made to capture a real moulded fingerprint rather an engraving. although we are also able to engrave ink prints if necessary.
They are all made to be reassuringly deep at approximately 2mm. giving every impression a wonderful 3 dimensional quality.
This is necessary to achieve the best print but it can make them feel a little heavy for some people. You should be aware of this if asking for multiple fingerprint shapes to be joined together.
How Much Room Is There For Extra Details?
As the fingerprints impressions takes up the entire front surface of each earring and the earring stem is placed on the back. it is not usually possible to engrave these on the front or back.
However. if you wish. we can place a small mark on the back of each earring so that you can tell the fingerprints apart.
