Please get in touch before placing an order for a Impression Appointment as we will need to make sure we are available on a date that is convenient for all involved. 

Often there is little or no time to repeat the fingerprinting process if something goes wrong.

For this reason. if you. your hospice. or your funeral home needs help with taking fingerprints. handprints. or footprints. we are more than happy to help.

We can personally oversee or assist with the printing process. or we can take the prints ourselves to ensure you get the best prints possible.

We have been working with fingerprints. handprints. and footprints for over a decade and know exactly what to look for and what we will be able to work with.

We already work very closely with a number of local organisations to provide a guided fingerprinting service.

We simply charge a small fee to cover our time. fuel and the impression kits that we use.

There is no obligation to have a piece of jewellery made by us once printing has taken place.

Our fingerprints have previously been used to create jewellery. artwork. tattoo's and more. 

WHAT WILL I RECEIVE?

At every fingerprint impression appointment. we will take one full set of ink fingerprints and one set of moulded 3D fingerprints.

Taking both kinds of impressions means you have the very best chance of receiving clear. usable prints. 

It also means you have many more options when it comes to using the prints in the future.

Handprints and footprints can also be taken on request. 

Once we have taken your prints. they will be placed safely into a gift box until we can arrange collection or delivery at a time that is convenient for you. 

STORAGE OR DELIVERY?

Once your impressions have been taken. we usually arrange for you to collect them at your earliest convenience. although we are more than happy to leave them in the capable hands of the staff at your hospice or funeral home.

If none of these options are suitable. we can arrange postage.

Please note that we only send impressions via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
This means that your package will be delivered before 1pm on a day of your choosing via your regular postal service and it will require a signature upon arrival. 

There is absolutely no rush to decide what to do with your prints.

They are perfectly safe here with us at the studio and we are happy to store them for you as long as you need us to.  We have cared for many impressions for years.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?

This is a local service only. so you or your loved one need to be within a 10-mile (or 16km) radius of our studio in Kedington. Suffolk. UK.

This means we cover areas including Linton. Little Abington. Horseheath. Clare. Glemsford. Long Melford. Finchingfield. Dullingham. Castle Hedingham and Great Yeldham.  

If you live further away. please enquire before booking this service.

We may sometimes be able to offer appointments as far away as Newmarket. Sudbury and Saffron Walden but not always. 

PLEASE NOTE

We can never 100% guarantee that we will be able to get perfect. clear and usable fingerprints. 

There are so many factors that can cause fingerprints to spoil before and after death which are completely out of our control.

These can include injury to the hands and medical treatments but can also include the age of the person printed and the amount of time since their passing.

Some people naturally. even as adults do not have strong fingerprints. 

What we can promise. is that we will use our expertise and the very best impression materials available.  These are capable of taking the most detailed and accurate prints - if they are present.
